This dataset contains electrocorticography (ECoG) recordings from three cohorts of C57BL/6 mice examining how transcranially delivered diagnostic ultrasound (tDUS) modulates cortical responses to a blinking light stimulus. Mice were exposed to combinations of tDUS and light stimulation, with electrodes targeting visual and somatosensory cortices, to investigate ultrasound's potential to intentionally modulate brain activity for future clinical and therapeutic applications.
This dataset comprises intracranial EEG recordings and single-unit neuronal activity from the human amygdala of nine epilepsy patients during exposure to dynamic visual stimuli with aversive (fearful faces) and neutral (landscape) content. The recordings enable investigation of amygdalar responses to emotional stimuli across multiple spatial scales, from macroscopic field potentials to microscopic neuronal firing patterns. Data are provided in BIDS format with extended neuronal spike data available in NIX standard.
This dataset contains intracranial EEG (iEEG) recordings from human patients, rodents, pigs, and non-human primates acquired using novel flexible, scalable, high-resolution micro-stereo-electrodes. The study evaluates the performance of these custom-fabricated depth electrodes for neural recording and includes direct electrical stimulation experiments to assess stimulation effects on brain activity. This dataset comprises simultaneous scalp EEG and intracranial EEG (iEEG) recordings from fifteen epilepsy patients undergoing intracranial monitoring while performing a modified Sternberg verbal working memory task. Recordings include depth electrode iEEG, 10-20 scalp EEG, electrode localization (MNI coordinates and anatomical labels), and derived LCMV beamforming virtual sensor data from multiple brain regions (temporal superior lobe, lateral prefrontal cortex, occipital cortex, posterior parietal cortex, and Broca's area). Behavioral data on trial set size, match/mismatch condition, accuracy, and response time are also provided, enabling analyses of memory encoding, maintenance, and recall processes, connectivity, and neural replay.
This dataset comprises concurrent EEG and transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) recordings from 40 participants performing an attentional blink task. Participants completed two laboratory sessions approximately one week apart, receiving either anodal or cathodal tDCS (1 mA, 20 minutes) while EEG was recorded before, during, and after stimulation. The dataset documents the physiological effects of tDCS on neural correlates of attention and provides a resource for investigating artifact characteristics in concurrent tDCS-EEG recordings.
