EEG: Alcohol imagery reinforcement learning task with light and heavy drinker participants
This dataset comprises electroencephalography (EEG) recordings from 54 community participants (high and low alcohol drinkers) performing an affective state reinforcement learning task with alcohol imagery. Data were collected between 2019-2021 at the University of New Mexico's Clinical Research Center Lab. The study investigates how alcohol imagery modulates reward-related neural responses, as indexed by the reward positivity component, in individuals with varying drinking patterns.
