Liu2022 – eldBETA SSVEP benchmark dataset for elderly population

The eldBETA dataset comprises 64-channel EEG recordings from 100 healthy elderly participants (aged 51-81 years) performing a 9-target steady-state visual evoked potential (SSVEP) brain-computer interface task. Using joint frequency and phase modulation stimuli across frequencies ranging from 8.0 to 12.0 Hz, the dataset contains 7 sessions per subject with visual feedback in a speller paradigm. This benchmark dataset is designed to support the development and evaluation of SSVEP-BCI systems for aging populations.
