This dataset comprises EEG recordings from 15 healthy participants performing reach-and-grasp motor imagery tasks using three different electrode systems: gel-based laboratory equipment, water-based mobile EEG, and dry-electrode mobile EEG. Data were acquired at 256 Hz from 58 EEG channels plus 6 EOG channels across three sessions with 7200 total trials. Participants executed palmar grasp (toward glass) and lateral grasp (toward spoon) actions. The study investigates the feasibility of decoding natural reach-and-grasp neural correlates across different EEG acquisition modalities for brain-computer interface applications.
This dataset contains intracranial EEG (iEEG) recordings from human patients, rodents, pigs, and non-human primates acquired using novel flexible, scalable, high-resolution micro-stereo-electrodes. The study evaluates the performance of these custom-fabricated depth electrodes for neural recording and includes direct electrical stimulation experiments to assess stimulation effects on brain activity. This dataset comprises intracranial EEG (iEEG) recordings from 12 epilepsy surgery patients enrolled in the RESPect (Registry for Epilepsy Surgery Patients) study at the University Medical Center of Utrecht. The collection includes both intraoperative electrocorticography (ECoG) recordings from six patients and long-term iEEG monitoring data from six patients (three ECoG, three stereo-encephalography). All data are organized according to the Brain Imaging Data Structure (BIDS) specification to facilitate standardized access and analysis of clinical neurophysiology data.
