This dataset comprises intracranial EEG recordings and single-unit neuronal activity from the human amygdala of nine epilepsy patients during exposure to dynamic visual stimuli with aversive (fearful faces) and neutral (landscape) content. The recordings enable investigation of amygdalar responses to emotional stimuli across multiple spatial scales, from macroscopic field potentials to microscopic neuronal firing patterns. Data are provided in BIDS format with extended neuronal spike data available in NIX standard.
This dataset comprises resting-state electroencephalography (EEG) recordings from 111 healthy control subjects acquired using a BioSemi ActiveTwo system with 64 electrodes. Subjects were recorded during four minutes of continuous EEG with eyes closed, with some subjects undergoing repeat recordings at a later timepoint. The dataset includes both raw EEG data rereferenced to average reference and a derived cleaned dataset preprocessed with an automated pipeline, along with demographic and cognitive test data.
[ recordings from 20 C57BL/6 mice exposed to combinations of diagnostic ultrasound (tDUS) and visual stimuli to investigate how transcranially delivered ultrasound modulates visual cortex responses. Recordings from visual and somatosensory cortices were collected at 20 kS/s during three experimental conditions: light-only, ultrasound-only, and combined ultrasound with light stimulation. The study demonstrates that tDUS enhances exogenously induced brain activity when combined with visual stimuli, with implications for understanding ultrasound-mediated neuromodulation.
